Offbeat Brides: Non-Traditional Wedding Rings

Many couples actually procrastinate getting engaged, even if they have been together for years. One reason: the cost of the engagement ring. A traditional wedding ring can cost thousands of dollars and a lot of emotional stress.

While a lot of women think bigger is better (yes, I am one of them), we are excited to see the trend of non traditional wedding rings becoming more popular. Who is choosing these non traditional rings? Well, mainly soon to be grooms that know their girlfriends do not fit the “diamond is forever” mold.

Our close friends, CJ and Veronica, did just that. Veronica loves all things vintage, from clothing to jewelry, so this was a perfect route for CJ to take when choosing her ring. He gave her a cool vintage owl ring, that symbolized their time together and love for one another.

Some women don’t even like diamonds, which is totally fine. Or maybe you know exactly what you want but you haven’t seen it out there? There are plenty of custom jewelry designers that can help you create the ring of your dreams.

No matter what ring style your soon-to-be-hubby chooses, make sure it is the right one for you. (and dropping hints never hurts!)
