Erin Burkhard

Owner & Creative Director

After graduating from the Art Institute of Phoenix, Erin used her graphic design and management skills to climb the corporate ladder. After a successful career in the industry as Art Director, she decided to put her skills to more creative use at her own company. Erin started Be In Love designs, along with her husband, Brian, in 2007 after designing her own wedding. In 2011, she had the distinguished honor of being a speaker at the Wedding MBA in Las Vegas. Currently, she is the head graphic designer for all custom work. With her new addition, Bella, she is also excited to be designing more baby announcements and parties.
Grace Quijada

Grace Quijada

Assembly Production Manager

Since she can remember, Grace has always had a passion for all things art. She was introduced to Erin during her time at her previous job, in which she took care of cutting down print jobs and occasionally printing posters for her. When Erin came in one day and expressed that she would be needing a part time helper for assembly during the summer of 2015, Grace eagerly applied. Seeing all the lovely designs on the paper she would cut down, really intrigued her as to what the final product looked like. When she was given the opportunity to work with Erin, she fell in love with the gorgeous invitations and event stationery she helped create, as well as the easygoing and friendly work environment at Be In Love; and has happily been there ever since!
Gretchel Lumanlan

Always have been fascinated with crafting, pretty paper creations and anything artsy, Gretchel never really saw herself as someone who can create something beautiful with art. She is just glad that the opportunity to work for Erin as her online assistant has come her way and after a year of doing just that, she loves everything that she gets to see on how the creation of different stationery, invites, reception items, RSVP’s, and Save The Dates are completed. She loves working for Erin and has been very proud to be a part of Be In Love Designs.

How We Became Be In Love Designs

It all started on Valentine’s Day, 2006, when my now husband proposed to me. As happy as I was, I instantly became Bridezilla and wanted every detail to be perfect. While looking for ideas, I noticed that wedding invitations were boring and stuffy – definitely not our personality. As a graphic designer, I started designing our logo and theme of our wedding. Thus, BE In love Designs was born. (B = Brian, E = Erin. Our wedding logo was actually B & E in Love.)

Over the years I designed several of my friends and family’s wedding invitations. I enjoyed it so much that, finally, in 2007, I decided to go for it and make it my career. Now we have grown into a happy group that is in love with all things design. With our new addition to the family, Bella, we have expanded our interests into baby and party.

The Invitation Boutique

6939 East 5th Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85251

In 2011, we opened our design studio, also know as “the Invitation Boutique”. It’s a pleasant place for us to meet with clients and show the endless possibilities for their event stationery. Besides paper, ribbon and other embellishment samples, we also carry some familiar lines, like Carlson Craft, Envelopments and more.

Since this is a family-friendly business, we do not keep store hours. Instead, we give personalized attention to our clients and meet by appointment only. So give us a call or shoot us an email on our “Say Hello!” page. We’d be happy to schedule a consultation with you sometime, Mondays through Saturdays.
